Welcome to Mountainside Retreat.

This large Vermont mountain home has 6 bedrooms, and 4.5 bathrooms, with 2 queen bedrooms, 2 king master suites (both with ensuite bathrooms, one includes a large jetted tub for soaking after a long day on the slopes).

On the first level there are 2 more bedrooms (one with 2 twin beds, and the other with 6 twin bunks), a gear storage room, a kitchenette/bar area, a family room/den, a gas fireplace, and a full bathroom.

On the second level you'll find a well-appointed kitchen with bar seating, a large dining room with a 12 person table, a living room, another gas fireplace, a reading nook, and the first master suite which includes a large rain shower and 2 vanities. The mountain and valley views from the two story picture windows in the main living area are stunning.

Access to the deck is from this level. The deck includes table seating for 12, and another 4 adirondack chairs. There is also a brand new 7 person jacuzzi tub, and a new hard-lined weber gas grill. From the deck you can access our large fire pit area with seating for 8, as well as our patio area with hammock chairs and benches. There is no shortage of indoor or outdoor living space. The second level also includes 2 washer/dryer pairs to keep up with the family laundry.

The third floor has the second master suite (the ensuite has a standing shower and jetted tub) with incredible views of Lake Rescue. This level also includes 2 queen bedrooms and a hallway full bath with a tub/shower. Another reading nook sits in the hall.

All living spaces on the second and third levels have mini-split air conditioning. The entire house uses radiant floor and baseboard heat to stay warm during the winter months.

The home sits on 16+ acres and backs up to Okemo State Forest. There are cut hiking and snowmobiling trails accessible from just off the driveway.

FOUR WHEEL DRIVE IS REQUIRED IN THE WINTER MONTHS. The driveway is quite steep.
